Ciara wants us to know it’s real. A relationship with fellow musician Future that is. During a recent interview with Philly’s Power 99 the singer says she’s found her “best friend” in the rapper.
She admits, “I’m happy. I’m with somebody that makes me feel very comfortable in this setting,” she gushed.
“It’s just a whole new thing that’s happened within myself internally that’s kinda inspired me to do things differently,” she says of opening up about her relationship. “I’ve been able to learn a lot over the past years of my life,” she continued. “I’ve tried things many different ways. I’m now in a place in my life where I’m so much more comfortable than I’ve ever been in my skin. I’ve learned that you gotta live your life for you. People are gonna have something to say no matter which way you do it.”
On what they do as a couple she says, “We do normal stuff. We go eat, go to the movies, and all that fun stuff. The simple moments is when I think you have the most fun.”
On starting a family when the time’s right, “He’s my best friend, so we talk about a lot of stuff…at the right time, I’m looking forward to that.”
Future already has three children.
To prove their love the couple recently got matching tattoos of the other’s first initial on their left hand, ring fingers.
