After weeks of speculation, it’s just been confirmed that Rocsi Diaz has been let go from her Entertainment Tonight hosting gig.
Two years ago, Diaz joined the entertainment news line up after parting ways with BET and ‘106 & Park’ music countdown show. After several small movie and hosting projects, Diaz was hired to be a correspondent for the entertainment news media outlet. Unfortunately, that’s now come to an end.
ET confirms the news with Deadline.com explaining.
As both Rocsi and ET have grown and evolved over the years, she has elected to pursue hosting opportunities that are available to her at the start of next year. Until then, she will continue to bring her usual brand of Rocsi-style entertainment interviews to ET.
The only question now remains whether Rocsi really chose to pursue other endeavors or the media outlet fired her. Since the beginning of her contract with the outlet, many speculated on whether Diaz had been the right fit. We’re guessing that was a no.
