Congratulations is in order for “Baskeball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada, 37. Following reports, Friday morning, that the reality star is pregnant, many began to wonder if the rumors were true.
Well, it is. Lozada is expecting her second child.
It was her daughter, Shaniece Hairston, who shared the above image while reaching for her mom’s baby bump, very much on display. Along with unveiling the first photo and evidence that her mom is, in fact, pregnant she added, “You deserve everything that GOD sends your way. I am so excited to meet my new sibling! #youjustkeepwinning #babyswag #JOY @evelynlozada…”
Just 24 hours ago, Lozada also shared a message of all the things she’s thankful for — implying how much her life has changed within the past year. But were we expecting this?
She tweeted, “I’m so thankful for so many things! How much greatness has happened in a year! I’m sooooooo damn HAPPY!!! Yipeeeeeee!!!”
Not long after Lozada, whose vacationing in Hawaii, also shared an image debuting her baby bump.
She wrote, “NEW BEGINNINGS… #HappiestWomanAlive”
The mom to be, for the second time, is six months along.
She tells People.com, “I am so excited to announce a wonderful blessing — I’m pregnant! I’m excited about being a mommy all over again. This is something I’ve been wanting for years and I can’t believe it’s finally happening.”
We’re pretty impressed at how well she’s managed to keep this secret. In fact, Lozada’s been visibly absent from social sharing site, Instagram, for weeks. Perhaps, she was waiting for the right time for the big reveal.
As for whose the child’s father? Reports suggest it’s Dodgers baseball player Carl Crawford.
