Like we mentioned last night, Evelyn Lozada spoke for the first time on the domestic violence depicted by husband Chad Johnson, resulting in their failed marriage. The interview aired late last night and we have the full interview here.
When asked about hearing Chad’s apology she says, “It’s sad. It’s the hardest thing to walk away from someone you really love. But I have to walk away to protect myself.”
Of the incident she says she felt, “Humiliated, embarrassed, and in shock. My fairytale had just ended.”
She also says it’s unfair that people would think she deserved to be attacked because of her violent past on reality show “Basketball Wives”.
“Whatever the perception of me on “Basketball Wives” doesn’t justify what happened that day.”
And if she’s changed she adds, “I’m always gonna voice my opinion but your won’t see me acting a fool. I’ve grown a lot in the last couple months.”
