For the second annual “Face My Abuse” campaign and domestic violence walk, founder Jacqueline Rowe brought together guest speakers, at Wingate Park on Saturday Oct. 5th, to share their own experiences with domestic abuse. Speakers included reality TV personality Erica Mena, writer Teri Woods, Tashera Simmons (ex-wife to DMX) and Carol Miraj (Nicki Minaj’s mother).

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, an estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by an intimate partner each year.
