Famed fashion designer, Oscar De La Renta has passed away at the age of 82 years old.
Though the designer was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, it is unclear at this time what caused his death.
De La Renta, born in the Dominican Republic, shot to fame in the 1960’s with his elegant and unique styles. In fact, De La Renta became internationally known when he was named Jackie Kennedy‘s favorite designers.
He has designed for the likes of many famous stars including Oprah, Cameron Diaz and First Ladies Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton.
The designer is also responsible for Amal Clooney’s gorgeous wedding gown in her September wedding to actor George Clooney.
