Hollywood was rocked with the sad news that “Fast and Furious” actor, Paul Walker, had passed away in a tragic car accident. It didn’t take long for the actor’s co-stars and friends to express their condolences for his passing.
Here are several of those messages.
Upon hearing the news of Walker’s death, “Fast and Furious” star Vin Diesel shared his thoughts and emotions on Twitter writing, “Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. RIP,” accompanied by the above image.
He later added, “My brother and I….. We aimed for the stars together….and achieved more than we ever hoped we could with F&F,” accompanied by another photo of the duo.
Tyrese Gibson also shared his thoughts of Walker’s death with his own touching message. He also shared a photo of himself and Walker on the movie set of “Fast and Furious” during filming.
He wrote, “My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don’t understand My heart hurts it’s broken no one can convince me that this is real…. Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family… #HeartOfAnAngel13YrsFamilyForeverWeJustCelebreatedYour40thBirthday….. My God… My God… I can’t believe I’m writing this”
Gibson also shared this behind the scenes footage of bloopers during filming of 2003’s “2 Fast 2 Furious.”
Ludacris shared his own image of the Fast and Furious cast (above) with the message, “Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P.”
The actor’s Fast & Furious on screen love interest, Jordana Brewster, also shared her thoughts when she tweeted “Paul was pure light. I cannot believe he is gone.”
On Michelle Rodriguez’s official Facebook page, ironically just one day before Walker’s death, she shared this photo of the Fast and Furious cast then and now.
She wrote, “The Fast & Furious family in 2001… and 2013. #FlashbackFriday”
On his Facebook page, actor Sung Kang simply added “Missing my brother”
Walker’s “Takers” co-stars T.I., Michael Ealy and Idris Elba also expressed their condolences for his death.
Elba wrote, “I’m Heart broken Paul Walker, he was a mate of mine, very sad. My heart goes out to his daughter.”
Ealy added, “My heart is crushed by the news that my friend Paul Walker passed away today. Prayers and light to his daughter and family right now.”
And rapper T.I. tweeted, “I’m shocked & saddened to find that the world has lost such a great spirited person. Paul Walker was not only a passionate, talented actor, he was also a sincere man with a genuine personality, that filled a room immediately upon introduction. My family’s hearts & prayers is extended to his family, especially his daughter. He will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace. #RIPPAULWALKER”
He also shared this image of himself and Walker at the “Takers” movie premiere in 2010.
Walker was filming the seventh installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise at the time of his death. He was 40 years old.
