First Look At ‘Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta’

VH1 has released the first promo clip of the upcoming spin-off ‘Love and Hip Hop:Atlanta’. This one looks good guys. Following the original and last season’s ‘Love and Hip Hop’, I was entirely through with the show and anything to do with it. We get it, drama sells but the constant fighting between grown woman is a bit much. Adults should be able to resolve conflicts without getting physical. Perhaps it’s a bit too soon to tell but Atlanta may have something here. Check out the 30 second clip below.

“Whose baby is it?” hmmm…interesting. And look at Lil’ Scrappy. Guess he’s using this vehicle as a means for a comeback. Well, guess we shall see.

The cast includes Stevie J, a producer who has worked Diddy, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey, just to name a few, his longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust, a up-and-coming Latina rapper named Joseline.

We also have Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy, his girlfriend Erica Dixon, and his mother, a former hustler known as “Momma Dee.”

And someone I’m looking forward to seeing, Atlanta rapper Rasheeda, still searching for that big hit after years in the hip hop game, along with her manager/husband Kirk Frost, who are at odds over the direction of her music career.

And finally, rounding out the cast are sisnger K Michelle, and Trinidadian R&B singer Karlie Redd.

The show premieres June 18th at 8/7c.
