Entertainment site hiphollywood.com got the scope on Monica and Shannon Brown’s secret wedding that took place back in November.

Monica released this statement, “This is a very special time in my life. I am blessed to have married the man that God sent me, he’s loving, compassionate, strong and supportive of my children, family and career. I look forward to our lives together.”

Monica also reveals she will be releasing another album, ‘New Life’, sometime in July around the same time she and Shannon plan on holding a more elaborate wedding for their friends and family.

The couple is seen above with their minister on their wedding day.
