Flava Flav’s Chicken Restaurant Closes Over Bad Potatoe Salad

Well what do you know, Flava Flav’s Chicken closes after Flav discovered an out dated potatoe salad in stock. Yes, you read that correctly! The restaurant, opened in Clinton, Iowa, was said to be the first of the national food chain to compete with the likes of KFC and Popeyes.

In Flava’s official statement he says, “Let me be straight up with you. I found potato salad that expired on 28 February and it’s then when I realized I can’t do business there and I really hope no one ate those potatoes.”

He then went on to say, “I have to do whatever is possible for me to save my name and that’s to shut the business down. Nick Cimino isn’t running the business right.”

Business partner Cimino, obviously upset by the allegations, retaliated by stating, “I came up with the idea and now he wants to run without me? That’s fine … I’m just glad I’m free of somebody like Flavor Flav.”

This is not the first time the restaurant has come under fire, however. In recent weeks, employees have accused the owners of issuing bounced checks. Flav’s response, “they’re just jealous, ” yeah……. that’s it (rolls eyes).

No worries here though, the MC and former reality TV star hints at a new venture according to the Guardian. “Flavor Flav has signalled his intentions to open a new venture in Las Vegas. ‘Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor’ will reportedly open in the city on May 30th, 2011.”

Yeah good luck with that (holds head in shame).
