In some he’s just being his usual messy self news, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. would like to take back statements he made insinuating he had sex with T.I.‘s wife and singer/television personality Tiny.
As we previously reported, Floyd made some questionable remarks during his press conference for his upcoming fight against Marcos Maidana, over the weekend. When an attendee asked the champ about his feud with the rapper yelling out, “What about T.I.?”
Floyd then fired back, “What about the bitch? I was f***ing his bitch.”
Almost immediately following the statement, media outlets began to speculate that Floyd had been referring to Tiny. And, it wouldn’t come as a surprise considering Tiny’s snub at the boxer while walking down the BET Awards red carpet last month (See HERE).
Following the backlash regarding his remarks Mayweather released the following statement, “I’ve never been with Tiny sexually,” he clarified.”I respect her situation and I think she’s a good person. I would never disrespect a marriage.”
In response to the boxer’s initial claims Tiny admits that she feels the jab came as a direct result of her BET red carpet snub.
Mayweather also took to social media in a follow up message adding, “God knows I’m not perfect even with a perfect boxing record. Truly grateful, still I am evolving daily. Feels good to grow while watching my oldest son, @kingkoraun blossom. Hope to inspire him to strive at being the best he can be and always remain humble and never forget where his blessings come from.”
The message was accompanied by this image of the boxer and son King.
