Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson this just isn’t your day. Following the Saturday night altercation with “Basketball Wives” reality star and wife Evelyn Lozada, Chad Johnson gets cut from the Miami Dolphins.
Earlier today we reported the newlyweds are currently at odds over cheating allegations turned violent when Chad allegedly head-butted his wife during a heated argument. The wide receiver was arrested at the couples Davie, FL home once cops arrived just before mid-night and witnessed lacerations on the forehead of Mrs. Johnson.
Although he alleges they head-butted each other, although not intentionally, he was arraigned on charges Sunday morning and released on bond while Mrs. Johnson was released from a Florida hospital.
Just hours later sources close to the athlete are reporting the Miami Dolphins has decided to cut Johnson from the team. TMZ reports, following a meeting with head coach Joe Philbin the team has decided to let him go. Perhaps, things hadn’t gone as well as he’d hope.
Something tells me this isn’t the last we’ve heard of the athlete. After all we’ve got a reality show (Ev & Ocho) pending….The footage of the alleged “incident” may be worth gold.
