George Zimmerman Arrested, Again, For Domestic Dispute

Trayvon Martin’s acquitted murderer, George Zimmerman, is still raising hell. The troubled former neighborhood watchmen was arrested, earlier today, for allegedly attacking his pregnant girlfriend.

“According to law enforcement sources … Zimmerman got physical with his girlfriend earlier today, who claimed she was pregnant,” reports TMZ.com

“Since she’s pregnant, we’re told the domestic violence charge is automatically listed as a felony. The Seminole County Sheriff’s website says Zimmerman is not eligible for bail,” the site adds.

This is the same man twelve jurors let go free in the wrongful death of the then 17 year old Trayvon Martin, earlier this year. Zimmerman, protected under the state of Florida’s stand your ground laws, argued he shot Trayvon Martin in self defense, although the allegations could not be proven. Unfortunately the twelve jurors could not convict him under the belief there was reasonable doubt.

Since his acquittal, Zimmerman has had several minor run-ins with the law. His estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman, also filed for divorce back in September.

Many have speculated that Zimmerman’s ongoing troubles are perhaps “bad karma” for his crime. We’re starting to think that may, very well, be true.
