Today marks Dwayne “Lil’ Wayne” Carter’s 28th birthday! Unfortunately, this year he’ll be celebrating behind bars. The rapper, serving time on Rikers Island for weapons charges also released his 8th studio album today, I Am Not a Human Being. Although the digital release is out today the physical version will be out on October 12.
According to mentor and Cash Money founder Birdman, “He [Lil Wayne] wanted to put ‘I Am Not a Human Being’ out to show people he’s always in the building,” he told MTV.com.
Wayne is set to be released from prison in November.
