Happy Birthday Wiz Khalifa!

Wiz Khalifa turns 24 today! The Pittsburgh rapper, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, gained mainstream popularity when his debut single “Black and Yellow” peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Originally unbeknown to many, the title of the song refers to the colors of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On March 29, 2011, Khalifa released his first studio album, ‘Rolling Papers’, which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 197,000 copies in its first week.

Khalifa has also become quite known for his very public relationship with model and socialite Amber Rose. A relationship, despite the many criticism, he is quite content with.
