As many of us gathered with family and friends for Thanksgiving, some of your favorite celebs did much of the same.
Bow Wow shared the above photo of himself, his daughter Shia, and Shia’s mother Miss Joie. Upon sharing the image he had this to say, “My daughter would not sit still for this thanksgiving pic w/ me and her mom for nothing. @missjoie thank you so much for spending this day w me and my family. Means alot love you always! Let me be the example if no one else will to our young fathers. I got yall! You can do it too!”
Miss Joie also shared a photo of herself, her daughter and Bow adding, “As long as she’s happy, nothing else matters. Happy Thanksgiving!”
We’ve suspected for weeks that the couple may be back together. The rapper and ‘106 & Park’ host has been very open with his feelings for Joie in recent weeks — expressing his gratitude for her and his daughter on social media. The couple could also simply want to foster a healthy and amicable friendship for their daughter. Whatever the case, we think it’s awesome and we wish them well!
The Simmons family, who we haven’t seen in a long time, also gathered for the festivities.
It was Angela Simmons who shared this photo of the family gathering.
She added, “Surprised my family in LA! I’m so thankful for my family this is only some of the family … God is good! Happy Thanksgiving!”
Singer and actor Tyrese was also on hand with his young daughter to join in on the fun. It’s no secret Reverend Run has been a mentor in his life. The two even wrote an inspirational book together and went on a promotional tour earlier in the year.
Songstress Beyonce also shared this touching Thanksgiving message with fans.
