Idris Elba Announces Son’s Birth On Twitter, Meet Winston Elba (Photo)

We told you last November that Idris Elba was expecting a child with his makeup artist girlfriend, Naiyana Garth (Read HERE).

Although the actor never officially confirmed or denied the news he did announce the birth of his baby boy Friday afternoon (April 18, 2014).

Elba took to Twitter to make the announcement tweeting, “My Son Winston Elba was born yesterday..Truly Amazing :-)”

Attached to the message was this image of the proud papa holding his baby boy’s hand.

It was just last September that Elba revealed, in his interview with GQ magazine, that he later discovered a son he thought to be his earlier on in his career wasn’t his. The was left devastated by the news.

Congratulations Mr. Elba!
