I don’t know what is in the air but things just got a little weird. Almost 24 hours after it was announced that Bernie Mac died of pneumonia complications, Isacc Hayes was found dead in his Memphis, TN home. The musician was found passed out on the floor near a running treadmill. The soulful singer is well known for the 1971 “Theme From Shaft” in which he won an Academy award and two Grammy awards. Hayes’ music helped to pioneer a sound we now call urban-contemporary. He was only 65 years old.
