As she prepares for the release of sophomore album, ‘I Remember Me’, the beautiful, talented and new mom Jennifer Hudson graces the cover of Essence magazine’s April 2011 issue.
Jennifer, whose own mother was tragically murdered along with a brother and nephew back in 2008, tells the magazine the type of mother she wants her son to have saying,
“My wish is to be at least half as good as my mother was, as patient and as loving as she was, and to just give that to my son…”
The singer also discusses being a working mother, wedding plans with fiance David Otunga and how she dropped 80 lbs.
