Jennifer Hudson may have dropped a ton of weight but she didn’t forget about the big girls.
The singer is launching a new clothing line courtesy of QVU.
“I feel like I represent every woman,” she said. “I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it—no matter what size you are—and you could feel comfortable in it.”
On Tuesday Women’s Wear Daily reported that the singer will introduce her collection for the home shopping network this September. She’ll be designing clothes ranging from her current size-6 to her former size-16.
QVC executive, Doug Howe, added “[Jennifer] has this great Cinderella story, an aspiration for different women.”
