Kanye West Says What He & Kim Kardashian Has Is ‘True Love’, Couple Not Engaged!

Now that Kim Kardashian has given birth to baby girl North West, nicknamed ‘Nori’ for short, everyone’s wondering if she and Kanye will get married soon. Although reports suggested the couple had become engaged, over the weekend, a close source to the couple would like to dispute those claims. But, it doesn’t mean Kanye doesn’t think Kim is his one ‘true love’.

During a recent interview with W magazine Kanye says, he broke his “no press” rule when he made an appearance on Kim’s reality show, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, all for love.

He faced some backlash for changing Kim’s wardrobe — throwing out much of what she had in her possession. He says, “Oh, that’s just all for love. It’s simply that,” he tells W magazine. “At a certain point, or always, love is more important than any branding, or any set of cool people, or attempting to impress anyone. Because true love is just the way you feel.”

“Nobody can tell my girl what to do,” West continues. “She just needed to be given some platforms of information to work from.”

“For her to take that risk in front of the world, it just shows you how much she loves me. And how much she actually loves the opportunity to learn,” he continues. “You got, like, a million companies saying ‘This is impacting your brand! This is impacting your fans! And blah blah blah.’ But she still sees this light of beauty.”

As for that engagement we reported on over the weekend, “Kanye is already an incredibly present father,” a close source tells PEOPLE. “He’s very relaxed and comfortable.”

“They’re putting work aside right now to focus on the family. They’re in it 100%,” the source added.

And although Kanye hasn’t actually popped the question yet, “I can’t imagine them not getting married. That’s in their future!” the source also revealed.
