Katie Couric, 56, is officially engaged to boyfriend of nearly two years John Molner, 50.
The businessman proposed to the television host over the Labor Day weekend in East Hampton, confirms People Magazine.
Couric also confirmed the news when she tweeted on Monday, “Yes it’s true! So touched by all the kind Tweets & warm wishes-thank you! A great end to the summer & looking fwd to seeing you all Monday!!”
This will be the second marriage for the TV host. Her first husband, Jay Manahan, passed from cancer in 1998. The couple had two children together, Elinor Tully Monahan 22, and Caroline Couric Monahan, 17.
