Kelly Osbourne is no longer engaged to fiance Matthew Mosshart.
“Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement,” a rep for the 28-year-old star told the Daily News. “The split is amicable and the pair continue(s) to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don’t expect it.”
The E! “Fashion Police” correspondent and Vegan chef confirmed they were, in fact, dating back in December 2011 after meeting at Kate Moss’ wedding the previous summer.
They later announced their engagement last July, revealing that Mosshart had proposed during a vacation in Anguilla.
At the time Osbourne told Britain’s Hello magazine, “I’ve never felt this close to another human being, ever.”
“People say we’re co-dependent, but we just want to be together all the time.”
This is the second failed engagement for Osbourne who was previously engaged to model Luke Worrall.
