Just one month after becoming a mom herself, Kelly Rowland, 33, has lost her mother Doris Rowland Garrison.
Although Rowland herself has kept quiet about her mother’s passing, the shocking news was announced via Twitter by a friend of the Rowland family.
Rowland gave birth to her first child and son, Titan Jewell Witherspoon on Nov. 4, 2014 after marrying longtime boyfriend and music manager Tim Witherspoon back in May.
Unfortunately, there is no word on the official cause of death. May she rest in peace.
