Congratulations Miss Rowland. Finally your fourth album, ‘Here I Am’, drops today and I’m quite excited to see what your first week sales will be like.
Rowland’s lead single “Motivation” is currently #1 on urban radio, she had a smashing performance on this year’s annual BET awards, she’s currently a judge on the UK’s X Factor, she’s also been on a promotional roller coaster and with positive reviews this may just be the album Kelly needs to take her career to the next level.
Although she has had success with girl group ‘Destiny’s Child’, Kelly’s solo career has been a bit lukewarm. Since her separation from longtime manager Matthew Knowles Rowland has been very busy “re-branding” herself leaving Kelly the girl behind and showing up the sexy, vivacious woman she’s become, “Motivation” does just that. It is just the single she needed to command our attention. Are we ready for what else Miss Rowland has in store? I happen to think so.
