Kenya Moore has put some of her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” bad girl antics aside for a bit to do some charitable work. Moore has just donated $20,000 to the Detroit Public Schools.
If you all recall, Kenya was challenged by cast mate Nene Leakes to write a check to a charity organization which she would also match. Now Kenya is putting her money where her mouth is and doing just that.
Kenya shared the above image of a $20,000 check she’s just written to be given to the Detroit Public Schools.
Upon sharing the image she adds, “I’m proud to be able to give back and keep my promise to the Detroit public schools foundation to donate $20,000. Detroit is a resilient city and so am I. I will continue to shine despite the people who want to see me fail or try to turn my positivity in to negativity. See you soon Detroit! #igotyomoney #kenyalovesthekids #twirlsawayhaters”
