Remember when we told you guys about Kenya Moore and her landlord’s attempt to have the reality star evicted from her Georgia mansion? Well, the landlord won the case.
Although Kenya filed her own lawsuit claiming her landlord made false accusations and had slandered her name, Ms. Kenya never showed up to court. As a result, Moore has officially been evicted.
A judge in Fulton County, Ga., ruled in favor of the landlord on Tuesday, who sued Moore, earlier this month, for failing to make the full rent payment for May and violating the terms of her lease. She then filed paperwork to have Moore evicted from her property.
“I am making this statement as a result of the eviction order and judgment made against my former tenant, Kenya Moore, on June 18, 2013 in the Magistrate Court of Fulton County,” landlord Conya Dillon told RadarOnline.com after the victory.”
“The decision to file this eviction notice regarding Ms. Moore was reached after pursuing every possible amicable way to settle this matter privately. I am grateful that the judicial system has brought finality to this eviction process and I look forward to regaining possession of my home,” Dillion continued.
Moore will have a few days before she is mandated to leave the property. No word on whether Moore will continue with her counter suit. The suit may have been dismissed considering Moore did not show up at the initial hearing where she was subsequently evicted as a result.
We’ll keep you posted.
