In some not so surprising news, Kenya Moore is now considering leaving “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality show after cast mate Porsha Williams‘ attack on Sunday night’s reunion show (See HERE).

In an official statement made by Moore, on Monday, she states, “We all agree that we don’t condone violence. We’ve become angry with each other, we’ve threatened each other and gone to the edge. But at the end of the day, we know there’s a line. If there are no consequences, then where does it end?”

Williams turned herself, last week, to Georgia authorities and was charged with a misdemeanor charge of battery for the fight (Read HERE). But that just isn’t enough for Moore.

“I think Porsha was in a position to provoke me,” Moore adds. “If anyone is capable of blacking out and not taking responsibility for their actions, they should not be in this type of environment,” she continued. “They do not need a stage such as this.”

Moore also adds that the decision on whether Williams returns to the show is entirely up to producers of the show.

“She is a granddaughter of a civil rights leader,” Moore said of Williams, whose grandfather was the late Hosea Williams. “She does not have the tools to navigate this process. It’s just very unfortunate and sad. If I was in her position, the first thing I would do is apologize.”

Although I agree with Kenya that you have to be emotionally able to withstand the criticism you’ll face from being on reality TV, I believe, it was actually Moore who did the provoking.

It’s unfortunate to see Moore continue to play the victim and be passive-aggressive about the entire ordeal. If nothing else, she should take responsibility for the part she played in the childish antics as well.

She can’t expect Porsha (who seemed visibly remorseful) to take sole responsibility without also acknowledging that the way she carried on was unexceptionable as well.

Pointing a scepter and blowing a bullhorn in someone’s face in order to dismiss and ignore their statements is provoking and disrespectful. Just because Kenya wasn’t the one who actually threw the first punch doesn’t make her hands clean.

In my opinion, they’re both responsible for the brawl and should both apologize.

I don’t Kenya will leave, but it would make sense for her; someone did assault her on the show.

  2. Kenya’s going after that Nene money. And she’ll get it. For all her faults, Kenya is smart as a whip.

She hasn’t left, yet. But what she has done is tried to spin this fiasco in her favor, except that most of us see her as smart, but we also see her as evil. Honestly, I think Kenya Moore lost her cool, too, but was smart enough to try and make it seem like this was her plan. I know it wasn’t her plan to almost lose her long natural beautiful hair.
