Kerry Washington Is Pregnant With First Child!

Kerry Washington, 36, is officially expecting her first child! That’s right! The ‘Scandal’ actress, who married her San Francisco 49ers Cornerback hubby Nnamdi Asomugha back in June, is pregnant!

“She’s about four months along,” a source confirms to Us Weekly.

The news shouldn’t come as a surprise however. Since the actress’ top secret nuptials, she’s been spotted, in recent weeks, wearing dresses that are noticeably more roomy, especially around her waist.

In fact, the observation is what sparked rumors that the actress was expecting.

And although the actress hasn’t confirmed the news herself, it is believed to be true.

Washington, who was previously engaged to actor David Moscow has made it a point to keep her personal life private.

In an interview with Glamour magazine back in September, the actress said she had “learned through experience” that talking about her personal life just “doesn’t work” for her.

“I’ve had earlier times in my career when I did talk about it,” she explained. “But I couldn’t just turn around and say, ‘I only want to talk about the good stuff, but not the bad stuff.’ So I just thought, ‘Okay, no more.'”

“I’m walking around in the world with my ring. And when people say congratulations, I say thank you,” she said. “But I’m going to continue to not talk about it and just let it unfold.”

The couple reportedly began dating in the summer of 2012 and were married in Idaho on June 24, 2013.
