Kerry Washington covers the November issue of Essence magazine, looking stunning we must add.
The newly married “it” girl sits down during an exclusive interview with the magazine to talk all things ‘Scandal’.
On the brink of the show’s season three premiere she tells Essence, “People are sitting on their couches and they’re in a relationship with us. When people come up to me, they’re saying, ‘What are you going to do next week?'”
In the feature the magazine played a fun game of comparing “Olivia Vs. Kerry.” On their style Washington says, “Olivia has three [fashion] modes: Work Olivia, Black-Tie Gala Olivia and At Home Olivia… My fashion is more eclectic: There’s Going to Work Kerry, which is gym clothes and Nike kicks. That’s the Bronx girl. There’s also Red Carpet Kerry and Out to Dinner With Friends Kerry.”
On a Girls’ Night Out the actress reveals that while Olivia’s night “would involve a lot of wine.” For her, “I drink maybe twice a year. I would be with my three best friends from high school or my girlfriends from the show.”
We wouldn’t help but make another comparison between the two ladies. Something they both have in common? Keeping their private life very private. Washington remains mum about her secret wedding to 49ers football player Nnamdi Asomugha. Although, I think we can all agree, Olivia Pope’s private life is much more scandalous! Lol.
