Kim Fields & Husband Welcomes Second Son, Quincy Xavier Morgan

Actress Kim Fields, 44, and husband Christopher Morgan, 37, have welcomed their second child and son, Quincy Xavier Morgan, born on Tuesday, December 3rd.

The baby boy was born in Atlanta, Ga. at 10:30 a.m., a rep, for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE.

“We are so blessed and grateful to God for this newest gift to our family,” the couple tells PEOPLE.

Fields also took to Twitter to announced her son’s arrival, earlier today, when she tweeted, “Praise the Lord Quincy is here! 8 lbs. 8 oz. 20 inches long we are all doing great thank you for your love prayers and support!”

Back in July, the actress announced she was expecting her second child on daytime talk show, The Real, during a guest appearance.

“It was planned. We’ve actually been trying for a couple years,” she said at the time. “We had gotten pregnant twice and [miscarried]. If I’m encouraging to anybody … it’s not like I’m the poster child for over 40 and pregnant.”

The newest addition to the Morgan family joins older brother Sebastian Morgan, 6.
