Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have just reached a prenuptial agreement. Although Kanye is said to have not wanted a pre-nup, it was Kim K who insisted on it.
As we previously reported, Kim and Kanye are set to tie the knot on May 24, 2014 in Paris (See HERE). The couple are in the final stages of ironing out all the details before their walk down the aisle and wanted to get their pre-nup out the way.
Kanye will pay Kim $1 million for each year they are married, capped at $10 million, in the case of a split, according to RadarOnline.
“The entire process for the prenup for Kim and Kanye has been extremely easy, and relatively drama free. Kanye didn’t even think the couple needed a prenup, and was ready to give Kim carte blanche to all of his financial assets. Yes, he loves Kim that much. There is a huge difference from Kim’s prenup with Kris Humphries… the preparation of their agreement went on for several months. It was long and tedious.”
In addition to the millions, Kim will also be entitled to the couple’s Bel Air mansion, which will be in Kim’s name. All expenses will be taken care of by Kanye, however. She’ll also be entitled to all jewelry and gifts given to her by Kanye throughout the marriage.
One of Kanye’s life insurance policies, valued at $20 million, will also name Kim as the beneficiary, for life, even if they were to divorce.
There are NO clauses in the agreement concerning custody arrangements of their daughter, North, however.
According to reports, the rapper is worth an estimated $100 million while the reality star is worth $40 million from her beauty and fashion brands and appearances.
Whew! Well, Kim will surely make out nicein case of such a divorce. But the couple aren’t betting on it.
“The couple is focused on the wedding and looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together. Kim is head over heels in love with Kanye, and knows this is forever. Despite having been married twice before, Kim is treating this wedding as her one and only,” the insider added.
We sure hope it will indeed last for a lifetime.
Are you looking forward to Kim and Kanye’s wedding? We sure are.
