*Update* Kim Kardashian Files For Divorce From Kris Humphries

News broke shortly that Kim Kardashian is expected to file for divorce from husband Kris Humphries sometime today, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the source of the problem.

Only 72 days since their elaborate wedding, the reality TV star confirmed to TV personality and executive producer of her reality show, Ryan Seacrest, that she’s indeed filing for divorce.

Seacrest tweeted, “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.”

One question, who didn’t see this coming?! Kim is known for her very public yet short lived romances.

Last December I even put together a dear celebrity letter declaring the starlet a serial dater!

I know, I know. We’re all having a little fun at Kim’s expense but seriously, she’s created a reputation that’s going to be pretty hard to get rid of. No one’s going to take her seriously if she continues to date one guy after another. Although many women suffer from the same problem, unfortunately, Kim’s love life is played out in the public eye.

What’s even worst, approximately 10 million dollars was spent on the wedding, while Kim made nearly 18 million. Seriously, that could have fed an entire country!

Again I’ll say, Kim needs to take some time out to just be single and knows what she wants from a man and relationship before getting involved with one.

Update: Kris Humphries was allegedly blind sighted by Kim’s filing according to TMZ.

Meanwhile, Kim has released this statement since news broke of her divorce proceedings.

“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision.”

Kim adds, “I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
