Reality TV personality, Laura Govan is still feeling salty over Shaunie O’neal‘s decision to change the cast of “Basketball Wives: LA”.
During a recent interview, Laura expresses exactly how she feels about the entire ordeal.
She says, “I feel like she didn’t keep [the show] in the basketball creed. She shoulda kept ‘Basketball Wives,’ basketball wives. There coulda been a ‘Housewives or a Ho’ show for everybody else later.”
Laura may have been referring to fellow cast mate, Draya Michele, and the newest addition to the cast, Sunday Carter (who had a child with ex-NBA star Larry Hughes).
We would agree with Laura except one thing. She isn’t a wife either.
Although Laura and Gilbert Arenas have been together for several years and have a number of children together, they have yet to walk down the aisle. The couple have faced a number of issues in their relationship which led to a broken-off engagement. Although the couple have since reconciled, and are engaged again, still no wedding.
It’s rumored Laura and her sister, Gloria Govan, have officially been axed from the show. Also not returning, Bambi, who may join “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” since hooking up with rapper and cast member Lil’ Scrappy.
No final word on whether Malaysia Pargo and Brooke Bailey are returning as well. As for Jackie Christy, we have a feeling she’ll be back indeed with all her crazy antics.

This show needs to be OFF air anyway
Laura sounds bitter, poor thing, isn’t she accused of sleeping with Shaq. Seems to me the show was already a “Housewives or a H” show.
They can go ahead and cancel this show….We need new shows and new beeches…
Omg is this really coming from this “Ho’s” mouth? She has a lot of nerve talkin bout ho’s when she’s one her damn self. Anyone who sleeps with a knowinly married man is a bonifide “Ho” with a capital H. Just cuz someone was stupid enough to marry her now she think she carrys some weight? Bi#ch plz.
