“Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star, Apryl Jones, shared the above intimate photo while breastfeeding her six months old baby boy, Megaa Omari Grandberry, with singer Omarion.
Upon sharing the photo with her Instagram followers, she also captioned it with this message, “My body was made to do this…so I decided to fully dedicate myself to my son..one thing being Breast feeding!!! It’s the best thing in the world to be able to bond with my child and give him the proper nutrients he deserves..while breast-feeding may not seem like the right choice for every parent it is the best choice for every baby. I choose my baby!!! #megzz.”
After seeing the image, I expected to also see some negative comments of the first time mom sharing the private moment with her son. It’s no secret that other famous celebrities have received criticisma in the past for breastfeeding or sharing the private moment with millions of fans on social media.
In fact, model Gisele Bundchen received major criticism back in 2013 for sharing a similar image while breastfeeding her 1 year old daughter, Viviene. Bundshen, however, was surrounded by a team of stylists and makeup artists who were in the midst of prepping her for a photoshoot.
Fast forward to 2015. It seems, some things have changed. Most commenters of Jones’ photo actually called the image beautiful and inspiring. Some even stated they thought Jones is a good mother.
What are your thoughts, sweethearts. Should Jones have kept the intimate moment and breastfeeding photo under wraps?

This is beautiful! There is no need to keep breastfeeding private ever. Unfortunately for the past 70 years, formula companies have put out a lot of misinformation about how dangerous formula really is and have undermined every woman’s ability to trust in her body and feed her baby the way nature intended. I’m proud of Apryl for being able to come out in public and say she breastfeeds her child because it truly is the best thing for every baby. Go Apryl! & thank you for being a part of normalizing breastfeeding. Every great mother provides the best for her baby and breastfeeding just shows how selfless and loving she is.
