Lil Wayne Admits To Nearly Dying In First Interview Since Seizures, Confirms He’s Epileptic

In his first official interview post seizures and hospitalization in Cedar Sinai’s intensive care unit, Lil Wayne is coming clean on what really happened. He reveals, for the first time, he is epileptic and has suffered seizures for quite some time now.

During his interview with DJ Felli Fel of L.A.’s Power 106, Wayne says “I’m prone to seizures…This wasn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh…I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them.”

Earlier in the month, Wayne was reported as being on his death bed following two seizures in the same week.  Quickly family and friends dismissed the rumors to diffuse any talk of death. Wayne even tweeted a message to fans, once he’d been in a better state, to diminish any frenzy and reassure fans he was doing much better.

He also leaked a home made video to TMZ,  following his album release and discharge from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles to, again, reassure fans he was recovering quite well.

We’re also guessing Wayne would like to dispel allegations he had been on a sizzurp and codeine binge when the seizures occurred.
