In some unfortunate news this morning, Lil’ Wayne was hospitalized following a seizure aboard his private jet Thursday afternoon.
The rapper was on board a private plane, in-flight, when he began to experience seizure like symptoms. The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in an undisclosed location in Texas, reports TMZ. Wayne was then admitted to a local hospital and treated for several hours before being released around 6 p.m.
Although no official statement was released on behalf of Wayne, sources close to the rapper says he is now “doing better.” No further information as to what caused the seizure has been released.

Lil’ Wayne was hospitalized for severe migraine and dehydration on Thursday reveals a spokesperson to E! News.
”He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love,” says the source.
He’s since cancelled a Saturday appearance at the Jefferson Mall in Louisville, KY to promote his TrukFit clothing line but will reschedule at a later date.
