The Louisiana rapper have lots of reason to celebrate, of course. His ‘Tha Carter IV’ album went platinum in a week ( His 2nd album to do just that, along with a mixtape or two), and he was just entered in the Guinness Book of World Records, for the record of Most US Hot 100 Hits By A Rap Artist with 64 hits between 1999 and 2010. Impressive wouldn’t you say?
He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, from the multiple women in his life, to a brief prison stint or even a few controversial lyrics or two, but today we celebrate one of Hip-Hop’s greatest artist.
