The great thing about Lupe Fiasco is that he keeps conscious rappers alive! His message is always one that is positive and reveal truth such as this song and this video. There are many things in this world that is not fair, that can’t be explained simplistically and that is corrupt. Many of us ignore the obvious in an attempt to pretend we live in a perfect world, even if it is imaginary for a bit. It releases us from the guilt and shame of not doing more to help.
Now ask yourself (myself) what are the things you never said that perhaps you should have? If we all do a little we can ALL accomplish so much. Do something/Say something.
