“Basketball Wives” reality star Malaysia Pargo is calling it quits from her husband and Hornets basketball player Jannero Pargo.
Malaysia, real name Laquisha Pargo, has just filed divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
The news shouldn’t come as a surprise, however. The couple have been separated since late 2012. In her divorce filing, Pargo notes she and Jannero were married back in 2006 and separated on December 27, 2012.
Pargo also discussed her troubled marriage during the “Basketball Wives” season 3 union show back in April.
She asks for sole legal and physical custody of their three children together — a 7 year old and 3 year old twins.
Pargo is also asking that Jannero pay spousal support as well as her lawyer fees.
The couple intends on keeping things amicable, however. She tells TMZ, “Our family is our top priority and while we have decided to amicably go our separate way,” Malaysia says, “We are both committed parents and plan to remain friends as we co-parent our three children. At this time we do not wish to discuss the details of our divorce. We ask that you keep our family in your prayers.”
