(Photo: John Moore/Getty Images)A 99 year old Italian man, “Antonio C”, is seeking a divorce from his wife, “Rosa C”,96, after learning of an affair she had in the 1940’s. Although the affair occurred over 70 years ago, the woman’s pleas to reconcile has fallen on dead ears, reports The Telegraph.
The man had been rummaging through an old chest of drawers when he discovered love letters between his wife and her former lover just days before Christmas.
The couple is set to become the world’s oldest divorcees. They have 5 children, a dozen grandchildren, and a great grand child.
