In what must be the worst kept secret ever, Mariah Carey has confirmed that she is expecting!
During an appearance on The Today Show this morning appearance Mariah along with husband Nick Cannon announced,
“Yes, I am pregnant. It is true. It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough, ” she stated.
It’s absolutely emotional but for so many reasons, added Nick. Obviously the greatest gift on earth is a child but then the process and all that we’ve been through.”
The couple revealed they experienced a miscarriage 2 years ago and kept the news secret until they felt the time was right.
On when she’s due, “it’s still early” and “we’re expecting in the spring,” states Mariah.
The baby’s sex is still unknown. Congratulations!
