If you’re familiar with Bravo’s “Married to Medicine”, then you’d know, cast mates Quad Webb-Lunceford and Mariah Huq were once thick as thieves hunty! So much so, they’re attire, ability to READ another and speak in third persons were so on point, if you blinked long enough you thought Quad was Mariah and Mariah was Quad. Or as they put it, “she is I and I is she.”
Did you get it? Not to worry, not many viewers did either. At least not initially.
Sunday night was the premiere of “Married to Medicine” season 2 and the ladies did not disappoint. Shots were fired pretty early and the former besties are already at odds.
Here’s a quick run down.
Quad and Mariah are feuding over something that transpired prior to season 2 beginning.
Apparently, a mutual friend and fashion designer Reco Chappel is at the center of it all.
Reco asked Mariah to be apart of a photo shoot for his clothing collection, Mariah was “too busy” to take part, Reco asked Quad, Quad agreed and Mariah felt slighted by Reco who replaced her with another friend, Quad. Reco told Quad about Mariah’s disapproval and a war between the former besties ensued.
Quad now feels Mariah isn’t being a true friend, Mariah feels the same towards Quad and believes Reco brainwashed her. As per a clip of an upcoming episode, Mariah also feels she made Quad into the reality star that she is now. After all, Mariah is co-producer of the show — something she wants us to never forget.
Our opinion? Jealousy and envy is at the center of it all. The question now remains, whose the jealous and envious friend?

–It’s important for women to embrace and love equally their inner and outer beauty. All of us strive to take care of ourselves, but the journey to that destination is different for each person
–Imitation is the highest form of flattery, but there’s definitely a difference between an original and a knock-off.
