Singer Mary J. Blige has been facing some major legal troubles recently. Not only is she under investigation for tax evasion, she’s now being sued for cancelling a concert in Dallas, TX last December.
Vision Entertainment Worldwide, a promotional company, filed a lawsuit claiming the singer skipped out on her December 9th show in Dallas just days before she was schedule to perform.
In fact, the company insists Blige pulled the plug because wanted to perform with Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones the night before at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
They’re now suing for the $145,000 they shelled out for Blige to make an appearance.
However, Blige’s publicist tells TMZ.com, “”Mary J did not breach any contract for a Dallas concert last December. Any claim to the contrary is false.”
We hope Mary will be able to put her legal troubles behind her soon.
