It Has A Name! Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves Names Son Livingston Alves McConaughey

Contrary to initial reports that Camila Alves gave birth to a baby girl she actually delivered a bouncing baby boy! The couple named him Livingston Alves McConaughey.

The news was clarified by husband and actor Matthew McConaughey when he wrote on his official Facebook on Saturday, “Camila Alves gave birth to our third child yesterday morning. Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey was born at 7:43am on 12.28.12. He greeted the world at 9lbs. and 21 inches. Bless up and thank you for your well wishes. Happy New year, and just keep livin, Camila and Matthew McConaughey.”

It’s been tradition for the couple to not find out the sex of their baby until birth. The same was done with their two eldest children.When asked why they’ve decided to do so Matthew stated “it’s a pleasant surprise.”

Baby Livingston joins Levi, 4, and daughter Vida, 2.
