Over the weekend, we were shocked to learn that, Nelly was arrested on drugs and weapons related charges.
The rapper and television personality was arrested and taken to a local Tennessee jail when his tour bus was searched on a routine stop. He was booked for possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and guns.
Now, the rapper has finally broken his silence on the matter.
On Tuesday Nelly addressed his fans via a message shared on his social media profiles.

As previously reported, “…there were 15 to 20 people who had access to the bus prior to the stop and there were multiple people on the bus when cops searched it,” as per the rapper’s lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, according to TMZ.
“Nelly will not be associated with the contraband that was allegedly discovered,” the lawyer added.
