After a drama filled season six of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ original cast member, Nene Leakes, is said to have ended her contract with Bravo.
It was a tweet that Leakes sent out this morning that may have sparked rumors of her departure.
She tweeted, “Good morning tweetie pies! Never continue n a job u don’t enjoy! Follow ur passion & success will follow u! Hav a great day.”
The news may not come a surprise however. Leakes, thanks to her ‘so rude so nasty’ behavior, has become one of reality TV’s villains.
Although cast mate an nemesis Kenya Moore would like to think that her over the top antics and drama has allowed her to capture the spotlight, Nene’s arrogance and disrespect of her fellow cast mates may be the culprit here. And, let’s not forget she made need a lesson in being humble about her success — something fans have criticized her for as of late.
Leakes most recent fallout with cast mate Cynthia Bailey may also have played a part. Bailey and Leakes were one time BFF’s but their friendship came to a demise when Leakes referred to Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas, as “acting like” a “bitch” and seemed unapologetic about it.
