Nene Leakes Joining “Dancing With the Stars”?

Is Nene Leakes, 43, joining the “Dancing With the Stars” season 18 cast? That’s so according to some recent reports.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality star and actress may need some much needed time away from all the drama and her fellow housewives to put on her dancing shoes.

If you’re familiar with the star and RHOA, then you’ll know, not only is Leakes at odds with fellow cast member Kenya Moore, she has come under fire recently for her rude behavior during Moore’s charity event in her honor. She’s also currently feuding with former housewives cast member and bridesmaid Marlo Hampton. In fact, just this week, Leakes and Hampton exchanged words on Twitter after a falling out, which aired on Sunday’s episode (See HERE).

Leakes potential appearance on DWTS may also open new doors. Following the cancellation of ‘The New Normal’ and ‘Glee’ set to end after season 6, the dancing competition show may be what she needs to expand her brand and welcome new opportunities.

DWTS will make an official announcement, revealing the full season 18 cast, on March 4 during ABC’s Good Morning America.

Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure, 37, sister to Kirk Cameron, is also rumored to be joining the DWTS cast.
