A new song from Shanell, Young Money’s pop fusion princess, has been circulating the web as of lately and I absolutely love it.
Like everyone else, I love the Britneys, Lady Gagas, Beyonces and Rihannas of pop culture but every now and then an artist comes along and, much to my delight, slow things down a bit. Shanell’s “My Buttons” does just that. With smooth vocals the songs simplicity makes its easy to capture its emotion and understand its message. No over production needed here.
*A little tid bit: Shanell is the elder sister of D. Woods of former girl group Danity Kane.
