Willow Smith has released a new single, “Summer Fling” and in true Willow fashion there seems to be a bit of a controversy over the twelve year old’s new song and lyrics.

I’m not quite sure what Willow means when she sings, “You tell me that I’m the one/ I tell you it’s just for fun…/It’s only for the summer but we do it anyway/Just a couple months but we do it anyway.”

Typically, I defend Willow in all her shaved head, new hair color, false tongue ring, different fashion choices glory but I too have to agree the lyrics are a bit too sexually suggestive for a twelve year old.

Check out the new single and video and tell us what you think.

What are your thoughts CK readers? Is Willow Smith’s new single a bit too mature for her?
